Subject: Roadmaster or add-a-leaf?
IP: Logged

Message:
I've searched the forums and am having a hard time finding any opinions or experiences regarding the Roadmaster active suspension vs. an add-a-leaf kit. I don't pull any loads with regularity, but now and then I load up a bed full of brush or mulch. Which of the two (roadmaster or add-a-leaf) will be better for load handling? I've also read that they will raise the rear end up a bit. The Roadmaster seems to add about 1.5". What about the add-a-leaf? They are comparable in price. Thanks.

Add A leafs are pretty cheap. I had some that are made for Toyota's put on my truck $35.00. I got 2.5" initially but they sag to about 2" as they break in.

I have also heard the Active Suspension is good not sure on price.

Road masters help in the corners and with axle hop more then the add-a-leafs do. I put the leafs in Chris' and my truck and work better then the 1.5" block I had before. But you will need longer u-bolts for eather set up. Go Rancho.
