Does anyone know if there is a front double shock setup for the 2000+ 4x4 Dakota? If not does anyone know of someone that can make a setup for the dak?

Because I want to put a coil over out board of the stock shock, and most hoop kits do that. The coil over would give some additional spring rate and help the Quad cab handle the extra weight it carries.

if you want good handling just get a fox / nitrogen charged shocks.

you don't need more spring rate NOR do you need dual shocks.

now if you want bling bling just say so.

and no, noone makes them, would need to be 100% custom.

So why don't I need more spring rate? The front of my 4x4 Quad cab bottoms out with only me in the truck. I don't think the current suspension can handle the extra weight that was added by the quad cab, it is only about 300lbs but I think that does make a difference. Dodge used the same suspension setup as the Standard cab and the Club cab, and then changed to Nitrogen shocks. Since no one makes a stronger torison bar, then coil overs are about the only way.
