Subject: Factory Lift? IP: Logged
Message: I saw a dealer ad for an '02 Quad... and it described it as having a "factory lift".
The ad is here:
http://autos.canada.com/vancouver/buying/listing.aspx?id=135533
What exactly is a factory lift? The way it sounds to me... before it was brought to the dealership, they raised it. Yet, in the two Dakota product brochures.. no factory lift is mentioned.
So I'm wondering, is this an option? Or did the person have it lifted as aftermarket?
I'm trying to find a '01 or '02 Dakota.. but I want it to sit high (As some of them I ahve noticed sit lower), and I want the Tire and Handing Group on it... I hope I dont have to be more picky...

Message: Read the disclaimer on that same site. It is below the picture.
