 Subject: Fabtech 3" lift kits

Does anyone know if the Fabtech 3" performance kit for 2wd Dakota's will work for the 4wd Dak's. I have a 2002 QC 4x4 SLT I'd like to raise aoubt 2" or so and I want to know if this system will work. Slight modifications are OK. And also, does the ball joint issue extend to the lower ball joints as well?
