I have just run across the Doetsch lift kits. For almost half the price of Fabtech, $428 instead of $806, what are the pro-cons of these two. Both say they come with the same parts. I was hoping someone would have information about the Doetsch, but when I searched the only topics were dead ends. Just curious b4 I spend my money this summer one way or another.

'97 Dak V6, RC, LB, 2wd, HomeBrew intake, MSD 6A, Blaster SS coil, JBA Headers, Flowmaster 2.5-2.5, Modified V8 TB, Extang Tonneau. Lift this summer with 32X11.5x15 Mudkings on Eagle Alloys.

From what I'vw found out is that they're the same as the
fabtech kits except that they don't come with the ball
joints. The ball joints are common joints one can get from
the local parts place.

I installed the 3" Doetsch lift on my 97 about a month ago and I love it. It is identical to the Fabtech kit except you buy your own ball-joints and save $400.

Check out www.geocities.com/quad2nv. It shows a 2001 Quad Cab with the Fabtech lift and some Doetsch components. The site is actually run by Dave Doetsch and includes some of the other 2x4 and 4x4 products they offer.
