Message: Right now i am very very very angry. Becuase in my excitement to buy a new truck i over looked a few things. I bought a 03 cc 4.7 stampede and it had a sticker price of 27k i knew this wast right so i tried to deal with him because it was dodge truck month and 3000 cash back i thought we could comprimise. I ended up paying around 20k for the car. But later only realized i should have payed around 17 even though the car had almost every available item available i still was over charged. I am out raged at this and was wondering becuase i alreaddy have insurence on the car, how difficult would it be to trade it back in get my $ back and maybe buy a 04 4x4 QC. I dont care about the extra money but would i get back everything i payed, just let me know here i am to angry to think

Message: I dont know where you are or where you bought it from but i think your SOL. Unless it was less than a week or so i wouldnt expect to get much out of it. You could try though as long as you want another car off the lot. Do some homework next time, dont buy the minute you walk on the lot..and get a decent V8 not the 4.7.

Message: what is up with the 4.7 bashing? as far as the R/T, i raced one the other day with my 02 4x4 quad cab 4.7L A/T. He did beat me, but only by half a car length, i expected more out of the R/T. I could definitely see a 2WD 4.7L beating the 5.9L.
as far as the first post, i agree that you are SOL.

Message: I say, keep your Stampede and get yourself something a lot older to lift and off-road. Stampedes are really rare and I think it's cool to have something a little different. Pay on the Stampede for at least two to three years so you won't owe more than it's worth when you want to trade. Also, do a little more homework before you buy. Use some payment calculators like what's on the Dodge website and Auto Trader.com. The stock 4.7 will beat an R/T. Mopar Now magazine ran a reg cab R/T with 3.92 sure-grip vs. a plain 4.7 reg cab with 3.55 single trac. The 4.7 won every time by a few tenths in the quarter. The 4.7's best time was 15.29. Just think what it would do with 3.92 sure-grip and a 5-speed. The R/T has the cubic inch potential to be a street terror but just doesn't have enough stock. By the way the 4.7 was spinning to a 15.29 quarter while the R/T was hooking to slower times.
