Subject: Relocate Exhaust after body lift? IP: Logged
Message: Have any of you with the 3" body lifts done anything to relocate your exhaust so it does not look like it is hanging down so far? (the distance from the rear fender to the pipe/tip) If so, what is the best way to do this? I do not really want to have a custom exhaust made, but would like it to look a little better. Thanks for any advise.

Message: Not sure if this works with old exhaust, but when I installed the MBRP kit the other day we just hung the hangers higher to get the tips closer to the bumper.

Message: It really doesn't look out of place after the lift. The stock location is really close to the fender, so to me it almost looks like it's where it should have been in the first place. I think you'll find that it looks fine after the lift. But adjusting the hangers should work...

Message: I paid a muffler shop $40 dollars and they re-cut the exhaust and moved it back up. It was worth it for me...I don't need the exhaust getting caught on anything especially when I'm out wheeling.
