Im getting my trck leveled with the 2 inch fabtech basic kit. Cant wait, but not sure what tires to get, I liked the look of Pirelli Scorpion A/T on my friends jeep. Heard they are pretty good. Maybe Michelin's. I dont know. Im looking for something that performs well on road and off road. Appreciate the help. Anthony

If you want all-terrain i would recommend bfg at ko. I have the fabtech 2 inch and a 3 inch body lift and I think I might use the kumho roadventure mt. The venture mt i have heard good things about but they changed the name and I dont know how the tire changed. If anyone else knows of any good cheap mud terrains let me know.

i know that maybe these tires may not be the cheapest mud tire out right now but they are simply the best. Im talking about the Wrangler MT/R. I have these on my Jeep Rubicon (from the factory) and throughout their life i have had no complaints. Some guys say that they don't clean as well as other tires but they can stick a stick up their a$$. They are the best tire on and off road. They are super quiet on the highway but when you get on the trail they tear it up.

The MT/R is too expensive plus its more of a rock tire. I would rather have a mud tire for the area that im wheeling in, I would take a MT/R if it was cheaper though.

My friend has a ranger and the only thign that he ever wheels in is mud. He has the x-terrains and they seem to do pretty good. They are kind of expensive too though. I don't know if you have ever seen those adds in the magazines for tires and some models of the super swampers are really cheap and are very aggresive off road in the mud. As i always say there are deals out there you just have to wait and find them.

I have some 33in super swamper TSL radials on my truck. They make a little noise on the road and they handle good to. They took less weight then my old mudterrains to balence. Also I dont care what anyone says, you cant beat them in the mud....

I think that I am going to get 5 kumho roadventure m/t's from discount tire. They gave me a quote of about 130 a tire. They dont carry it but they will order kumho if you want them. Should have the tires when I get my tax refund check.

You could look into the Yokohama Geolandar Mud Terrains. They look kinda cool and not many people have them. Theyre pretty cheap. I have the All-terrains and like them so far.

Hey, Check out the Dunlop Mud Rovers, I just got a set and really like them and for the money i would say you could not go wrong. I gave 401.00 out the door on the truck for 31 10.50 R15 great ride and clean out very nice in the mud , good in the rain and not to loud but you can hear them coming.

hey dakotaaggie first of all what size trie do you have. If their is a Pep Boys any where close to you check out the Futura Enforcer MT'S. for the money they are probable the best tire around. I had a set of 31" on my durango for about 2 yrs and they still had tread left when I got rid of them. If you want bigger than a 31" they are called the Dakota MT'S.

I'm running the 33x13.5x16 Swamper LTBs on Eagle 102s on my truck. Before the lift I ran 31x11.5x16 LTBs on the stock 16x8s. Plainly put no tire can hang with this one in the mud. As an older guy I've run a lot of different tires through the years and none can hang with the Swampers. If you don't mind the noise, the 20,000 mile longevity or the many compliments you'll get but these tires. With a slight torsion crank they will fit on a stock truck and go lock to lock without rubbing. Mine were 440.00 shipped to the door from www.natltire.com.
