Message: Hey man, Do a 3in body. From sight, you cant tell the difference. But if you do have a 2wd, like I, a 2in lift will do you absolutely NO good. My shop I use told me they wouldnt do a 2in body lift on my 2wd because they feel it is pointless. Of coures they said they would still install it if I wanted but they did not recomend it. But the lifts that say 4x4 only do work, at least for mine, on 2wd. They only difference is the steering shafts. A 4x4s is longer. On the 2wd, the shop will just bolt in an extension and your good to go. Trailmaster has a 3in body, the one I used, and it comes with all parts needed. Thats what id do. If you want, I can send you some picts of my truck with the body lift and you can decide that way. Good Luck.

Message: Yeah it's a 2wd, and all the lifts I've looked at are for 4wd. I don't want to spend the money on something that I can't use. Ive been told the only difference is that on a 4wd the steering shaft is longer.

Message: Dude, its true! All you have to do to use the 4x4 lit is extend the steering shaft. No biggie. Personally, the Trailmaster 3in body is nice. My shop said it was of great quality and it was easy to install. Thay also said it was one of the best looking body lifts out there. I guess the way out frames and the body meet allow of the use of these kits and dont look terrible like some trucks do. Go for it man.
