i have been looking for a suspension lift for my 04 ext cab. I cant find one so if anybody can help me find one id reall like to know or at least can help me find another way to lift my truck besides a body lift

There is a 3-inch body lift and a 3-inch suspension lift. I have both on my 2003 4x4 Dakota 4 door SLT and I diamond decked everything and it’s looking great. I bought the torsion keys and blocks, but you can go with the shackle kit instead. After you lift it I recommend getting a traction bar and gap guards. My buddy has a 2004 and he did the same thing. I only have 31 inch tires on mine and my buddy put 35's on his and its pretty sweet. Pics coming soon.

Adrenaline Motorsports sells a leveling kit for the 2004 Dakota and was thinking of buying it for mine. Hear or read any conflicts or concern with this?? Was curious and cautious before I buy it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!! THANKS!

Joshua: I've only put about 5000 miles on my pickup since I installed the lift. I'm not sure what the long term disadvantages are yet but I can tell you that the ride is a little rougher depending on how tight you crank the torsion keys. It's easy to install. Also, I did not go with the traction bars. I installed traction springs. I still have the factory shocks, but i might get a new set with a little more travel. So far I am satisfied with the lift, but I was not very satisfied with the shipping. It took over a month and a half for the lift to reach my house. If you have any more questions just let me know.

So I ordered the body lift, suspension lift and gap guards, however do i need traction bars? the only ones i found for mine that are at least someone decent are here:

You do not need traction bars. I was told they help with wheel hop and ended up not needing them. You don't need a steering stabilizer. I just went with the body lift, and the torsion key & block lift.
Has anyone bought the 02 lift & brakes or did a solid axle conversion?

as one of the posts said, he must be getting old ! I would say he is way to Old, I have a 2002 Dakota and my brakes work super, this guy calls them junk ? well if they are Junk ? they are really good junk, I did upgrade the Rotors to drilled and slotted rotors, just had to say 02 brakes are not junk!!! and sometimes you have to do what you have to do, I say, what ever floats your boat . have a nice day Dodge Boys.
