It worked for me , just cut and paste.

Ryan , no your truck does not have 12 inches of lift...you have a 5.5 in suspension lift with a 3 in body lift and maybe another 1.5 inches out of the torsion bars for a total of ,at most 9.5 inches. Maybe I`m wrong and you are unfortunate enough to own a 10 in Whiplash kit with the torsion bars cranked , if that`s the case I feel sorry for the people on the road when you are driving!

I tried it again the next day and it was working i dont know what i did
Ryan, what do you have to get the total of 12"
Possible combination
6.5 sus lift
3 body
2 going from 31 to 35 tire
1/2 torsion
Just guessing though

Ryan...do you even know what lift you have?

What are "aftermarket torsion bars with drop down brackets..." anyway ? Who makes them , how much lift do you claim from them? What other lift is under the truck ? Please tell us how you came up with 12 inches of lift for the truck.

I have read nothing good about those lift. A couple guys bought them when the first came out with the lifts and they where the very first costumers and the had a lot of problems. Alignment was one and most problem seemed to be the company sending wrong part and not treat customers right. From what I have read the alignment problem the guy with the 6.5" was eventually fixed and the other problems where the company wasnt treating him right was fixed with giving some money back. The kits require cutting and welding so you cannt return the truck back to normal if it doesnt work out right. Its kinda risky. I thought about trying one but think I will just wait to see if Rancho comes out with a lift around 6"+/-. There is always that body lift though, with 3" sus. I guess that clears 35's. It doesn't look that bad.

Looking at Ryans pictures, mainly the front view, he has a 5.5" Tuff Country lift. If you look closely you can see that the t-bars are cranked so much that the a-arms are on the lower bumpstops. It's gotta ride like ass. Either way, thats a max of 7.5-8" in suspension and 3" in body.

For you guys looking at big lifts, the front end of thee trucks can't take the abuse of a tire over 35". If you want to run big tires do yourself a favor and do a SAS or get a fullsize

actually i dont think he has a body lift, cause the nerf bars mount straight tot he frame,a nd there is no gap between them enough to see that there is a body lift on there, so, i doubt there is a body lift present.

Anyone that knows anything about Dakotas can tell you the truck DOES HAVE a bodylift on it.
The frame doesn`t show like that on a stock Dakota and you can clearly see the "gap guards" in the rear wheelwells doing what they are suppose to do , covering the gaps left by the bodylift.

I just can`t understand why everyone except RYAN keeps responding to the question of where he gets 12 in of lift from. I`m guessing it`s because even he doesn`t know!
