Message: It's probably your upper ball joints. Me and 10 other million people on this board would agree.
If you are getting that popping clunking noise while turing right or left over speed bumps or small inclines it's because your ball joints have probably worn out. Most people replace them with the moog greasable joints from www.rockauto.com. Do search on this site for ball joints and you'll be better able to pin point your problem but that's my 1st guess.

Message: you can also get the moog parts from o'riely, thats where i got mine. make sure they get you the 4x4 and not the 2wd ones(there bad about that even if you tell them). My 97 4x4 5.2L dak was all over the road and had to get a new driver side hub(they dont make bearings there built-in), upper and lower ball joints, and inter and outer tie rods. And lowers i believe have grease certs.
