I would take a thornbird over any mud or all terrain any day. Just cuz they aren't as good as a bogger or a regular swamper, they still out perform any mud terrain and can be driven on the road better than a bogger or swamper.

Go for the thornbird if it is what you want, looks great and out performs most any tires out there

I raise the BS flag on that statement.I have ran the turdbirds, BFG MT's,wildcat EXT's, swamper radails, bias ply's, Trxus STS's. I remember going out muddin when I first got my turdbirds. The only thing they were good at was pulling you out of the ruts. I stopped to get fuel after muddin and looked at the tires. The center treads were still full of mud even after driving for 20 minutes on the highway. MY BFG's and wildcats both cleaned out 10x better then the turdbirds. I dont weanna argue about it but dont like bad info passed on. as 4x4 people we pay a ton of $$$ for our tires and I'd hate to see someone spend 500-1000 on a set of tires based on bad info.

AS crazy as it sounds, I know people here in FLA who run them for sand tires??? Whats up with this? They seem to like them alot and say they float well due to the lugs being even arcoss the tread. But they have good side grip.

In mud they dont clear well. But they also use them on dry trails. logs, rocks, etc. Its a strang tire. good Luck with it...

im working on the pics weather is very crappy so havent had a good time to take some pics, and as far as the thornbirds the clean just fine as long as you have the enough power to turn them
