Message: Also be warned that you can not run stock rims with the fabtech kit without a spacer. you can only run a min 3.5 back spacing with the fabtech. ALso the body lift is 200.00 shipped with the fabtech kit

Message: I just bought the 3" lift from fabtech off of performancelifts.com. I already have aftermarket rims, so I didnt need the spacer. The total was $792 with shocks and shipping. After I get this in, I'm saving up for the 3" body lift.
I looked and looked for a 6" suspension lift but couldnt find one for the dakotas.
Does anyone know if the installation of this lift is difficult? How long should it take?

Message: Well I just started putting together the lift. I got the pass front done. and It only took me a day and a half. I was held up when I tried installing the new spring. I couldnt find a coil spring compressor till sunday afternoon. other than that, it all went together pretty easy. There is a gap between the urethan bushing and the cross-shaft the ties the the upper control arm to the frame. I doesnt look right but everything fits right. I'm going to call Fabtech to make sure that this is correct.
