Randys Ring and Pinion , you can find them in any off-road type magazine or at ring-pinion.com
I`m not sure if you can get a locker for the front , or even if you want to considering how weak it is already.
I got my 4.56s from them with the master install kits for just under $500 to my door.

is there a way to beef up the front end... can you put a locker of some sort in the front end or just a good limited slip diff...

I`d say call Randys , they will be able to correctly answer any gear related questions.They might offer a locker for the front , I`m not sure.
I`d hate to tell you something that I don`t know to be true.
