Message: THe best mud tire would be a Super Swamper Bogger, followed by a bias ply TSL, then probably a Bias ply MT baja CLaw. Do a search on tow hooks, I can't remember how people are doing it. Probably one of the easiest ways is to just buy a class 3 receiver hitch for the front and the back.

Message: to be honest I wouldn't have a Super Swamper. But thats just me, from expirence they don't clean well at all.
But Mickey Thompson Baja Claw is a great aggressive mud tire. Thats what I am running current;y and they seem to ride good on and off road.
But from expirence this is the best aggressive mud tire i've seen, other than the ProComp Xterrain, but I would rather save a little and buy the MT. just me though.

Message: Super swampers not cleaning well??????? Dude thats about the only thing swampers are good at.....
A know alot of jeepers that are very happy with the trxus MT. They are expecting about 35 to 40,000 miles on a 5 tire rotation. The Baja claw radails would brobably last 25-30K on a Jeep but dakotas are way heavier. Probably your best bet would be a radail baja claw then a trxus MT. You just gotta decide if a 25K life expectancy is ok.....

Message: I have x terrians and have run swampers and have friends that currently do. the ex terrians shed well but a swamper is better. I have friends that went from swapers to claws when they first came out and then back to swampers based on there mud performance. oh and the majority of them ran or run ssr's. not even a tsl. I have a friend who had ltb's on his toyota loudest thinks next to a bogger on the road, but impressive off.

Message: yea and i was looking and super swamper ssr come in 35/10.50/16.. I sould think that with 3" body lift should do just great and no rubbing.I'm also going with a series 146ae 16x8 with 4.5 bs that should be great for this application and hopefully no rubbing if any one has done this lut me know...

Message: i have 33's with a 3"body and t bars cranked and they rub with minimal trimming of the fender
anything bigger than a 32 will rub when flexed out because the tire is bigger than the wheel well. i think to clear 35"s u need a 4" suspension and a 3" body

Message: As I said before the only time mine rub is at full flex and the tires cranked hard one way ort the other. Even then it is just on plastic inner fenders. A little rubbin is a small sacrifice compared to the extra inch or so of clearence.

Message: i have the truxs sts by interco in 35" and they do real good on dry gravel and dirt but can still hold their own with the other mud tires in the mud i have never poped the 10 ply sidewalls either if you are always in mud you might want something a little more agressive but you would be suprissed how well they do on mud

Message: WRANGLER MT/R
Get them the bigger u can.
I have a pretty stock '99 Cc 5.2L with 31/10.5R15 mt/r (could have fit 32s). I do a lot of gravel roads, mud and snow, my truck will pass anywhere in mud or snow unless im hung up on a stump or something. I tell u, those r the best tire i ever had, they're a bit noisy on the highway (who cares),and they'll weir a bit faster than the stockers, but we are talking about high quality off-road tires. I don't think i'll ever buy anything else.
