Subject: Rancho 3" Lift and Body Lift IP: Logged
Message: Has any done a Rancho 3" lift on a newer Dakota (02-04). I put a 3" Rancho lift on my 02 Dakota and am now thinking about adding a body lift to it. Anyone know of any problems with combining a suspension and body lift on this year Dakota. Or should I, or can I do a torsion lift to get more hight? Thanks for any help

Message: Hey , I've been wanting to get the 3" rancho for my 02 dak but can't make up my mind . Whats your thoughts on it? Your truck sit higher? look better? would you have any pics by chance??Hows the ride now? and one more thing , when fully traveled on front and rear , is there still slack in the brake lines??

Message: The 3" Rancho lift is really awsome, the truck rides as smooth as the day I bought it. I like the lift but it was a bit spendy. The truck does sit alittle higher but I've noticed that the trucks with 3" body lifts look like they sit higher. There is plenty of slack in the brake lines. I believe the kit came with new brake lines or Olympic Offroad where it was lifted added longer lines cause they are all new. I'm really pleased with the Rancho lift. Good luck with your truck Jonny. Sorry no pics yet, will be some coming soon.

Message: Not really, thats why I'm considering adding a 3" Body Lift. I test fitted 33x12.50's BFG A/T KO's on 16x8 wheels today and for them to fit I would need atleast 2 more inches of lift.
