well i got my wheels and tires today, i got 15x10 a/e 589's with 33/12.50x15 thornbirds. its going in the shop feb. 23 for a 3" body lift and 3" rancho lift
2001 dodge dakota reg. cab 4x4 4.7L 5 spd.

Bad ide, bad in mud, noisy...
THey wear OK for a swamper but they are not for offroad at all. I prefer my A/T's to a Thornbird.

ive had them before and i have not had any problems with them,they do good for trailriding and muddin so you can have your own opinion put they are a good tire.

I love my Thornbirds ... On road, off road, wherever! A "little" slippery on wet pavement, but who cares. I dint buy the tires to be quiet or to get good gas mileage. Thats what the motorcycle is for.

I'm going with Mickey Thompson 305-70-16 Baja Claw radials. Believe this if you will, Fender Tire near Asheville, N.C. sells this size for $161.00 each plus tax. This includes mounting and balancing. The best deal I've found on the internet is at Desert Rat and Tyres International. They're both about 175 each plus almost $100 for shipping and I'd still have to get them balanced and mounted. I've never had a set of these, but with this deal I believe I'll try 'em. A friend of mine had a set of Thornbirds on his '78 Jeep and loved 'em. Another friend had a set on an F-250 and hated them, ending up selling them. To each their own. 4wDakota's turd thing was so funny, I had to print the picture.

poor you, i got mine for 674, all 4, mounted and balanced and including tax, i got the tires themselves for just 145. and these are 33x12.50x15R's :)
