I was wondering how to tell what gears I have on my 94 dak.
Is their a code in the VIN that tells this?
I looked directly on my axle and found numbers that didnt' make any sense

Call your local dodge dealer with the last 8 on your VIN# and they can tell you.

Check the label on the underside of your hood near the front. look for a metal tag attached to a bolt on your diff cover also
