Subject: Daystar 2" Lift Install IP: Logged
Message: I am thinking of installing the Daystar spacers to level the front of my 2WD. From what I've read, the on-road ride quality is better than the fabtech springs. True?
Anyhoo, what is required to install the spacers? Is it a 1 man job? I am pretty mechanically inclined and I should have all the tools (except a spring compressor).
Thanks.

Message: I didn't instal mine the 2inch doesn't level the truck though it gives 3inches of lift. I'ts kinda bouncey at first but gets fine after that.
I don'e know if its better then the fabtech I've never ridin in a truck with the fabtech but my upper a arms do hit sometimes.

Message: Sorry for the confusion. I am getting the 1 1/2" spacers for 2" of lift. I think that should just about level it. Anyone out there know the installation complexity? Or how much is fair for a shop to charge?
Thanks.

Message: that should level it, it should also eliminate much of the problems with the upper a-arms.
