Subject: Lifting an all wheel drive? IP: Logged
Message: Has anyone lifted an AWD yet? I have a 01' QC that I want to lift 3", but I hear there are problems lifting the AWD model.

Message: I havent heard anything about problems with the AWD, but as a far as I know the only major differance is the Transfer case itself. because of that, i wouldnt think there would be any more problems with lifting it over a 4WD.

Message: I have a 3" Rancho lift on a 2000 QC 5.9 4x4 with AWD. I have not had any problems at all. I also did the lift myself and I cant think of anything that was done that would affect an AWD 4x4 and not a PT 4x4.

Message: Thanks for the feedback. Wildhawk, nice looking truck. Is that a suspension or body lift? 33 X 12.5 tires? Do they rub?
