Subject: Cooper Discoverer A/T vs. Radial LT's

WHat is the difference between these tires. I have a 2000 QC 4x2 and had the Discoverer A/T in 31x10.5x15, and had plenty of room left. I am soon to do the 3" body lift and wanted to go ahead and get 32's (they fit with no rubbing but am still gonna do the lift soon), well the Discoverer A/T's do not come in that size. The guys at the tire place said the Discoverer Radial LT's are as good or better. Anyone have any exprience with these or comments?? THanks!

I'm using the Cooper Discover ST, 265/75R16 on a stock '02 4x4 Quad Cab.

Only a little rubbing at half-turn in reverse.

LT = Light Truck, AT = All Terrain. The LT is a highway tire which will be better on road and worse off road.

The LT's and AT's have entirely different tread patterns, the LT is slightly more agressive. Go here and check them out and it will show you all of the available sizes:

The ST is an awesome tire, I ran them on a K1500 prior to getting a Dak. Great in the snow, wet and dry roads and good off-road. I ran the STT on a Jeep XJ for a while, great traction off-road in the mud and whatnot, but the side walls are not thick enough for crawling around on harsh rocks.
