Message: This Christmas, I'm going to be putting a 3 inch body lift on my 1999 Dakota Sport. What is the largest size of tires will I be able to fit on my factory wheels, and what size will I be able to fit on American Eagle 589 wheels? Thanks.

Message: how come 32" on 7" ae589? I thought it would need the 8 or above. My 99 Dakota sport 2wd is in the shop right now getting a lift, and I ordered ae 058 15x8 and 32x11.5x15 to go on it when it is done being lifted. Is there some hidden info I should know?

Message: 15x7 have a backspacing of 4" and the 15x8 3 1/4 " so the tire would rub on the inner fender and also on the valance. The valance and inner fender could get cut and look good , but the 32 on the 8" with only 3" will rub even doing some cutting , there is metal behind the inner fender like 5" up and you can't trim anymore than that ............I have a 3" fab lift and no way you could lift 32 and with the 31 now and then going up a driveway still rubs .....

Message: I have 31x10.5 on on my 2wd and I don't get any rubbing when I turn. That's on stock wheels.. I guess it all depends on the actual tire also

Message: Hey there river Maniac I have a question about wheel back spacing..
I love the look of Quadmans tires on his truck and was woundering what back spacing I would need on a wheel so I could run say 30x12 tires..
I have the stock 16x8 wheels on the truck now and I know there is not much room left for me to go widder on the tire size on a stock wheel..
So I need some advice on the wheel width and wheels back spacing I would need to run to make 30X12 tires work..
Thanks Quick 6

Message: what truck ?????? 4 by 2 by , lifted ?????? 30 x 12 would have to be a wheel with 4 to 4.5 backspacing so you wont get rub on the frame and none on the body , either for the 4 or 2 by
