I have a 2002 dak with manual transmission . I just resently put a 3" lift kit on it and I am having problems with the manual shifter not engaging. the kit did not come with any extension, what can I do?

Sounds like you may have to notch the floorboard where the shift arm is hitting

i had the same problem with mine. The black metal piece on the floorboard has to be turned around. The hole in it is not big enough to accomodate the lift kit, but if you undo the bolts, turn it around you'll be able to shift fine, i'm going on 15k miles with mine setup like that and not one problem. You will have to drill holes in the floorboard since the pattern won't line up anymore, but that's as easy as getting some self-tapping screws
