Subject: baja claw vs. BFG. MT & Procomp IP: Logged
Message: I have a little predicament here, I am getting my Dakota lifted and need new tires. I have been offered a good deal on the Baja claws but have herd some things that make me think they will wear down fast. I currently have BFG AT/KO's on it and liked them but want a mud terrain.
Does any one have advice for choosing between Procomp, BFG'S or Baja Claws?
I could use the help.

Message: The claws are definately the best tire out of all of them offroad. But you heard right they do wear out fast. Out of all of the I would chose the BFG's or look into the Goodyear MTR's. The MTR's will last longer( avg.2 1/2-3 1/2 yrs depending on the weight of the truck) and do just as good offroad execpt for mud they are hard to keep clean.

Message: have a cousin that had ProComp tires on his 4x4 he said they wear out pretty damn fast. If I were getting tires not I would take the goodyear wranglers. For me seems like a perfect mix for on and pff road.
