Subject: Will Stock 03 16s work with 2wd fabtech
IP: Logged

Message:
I am wondering if I can use my stock 16" rims with a fabtech suspension system on my 2003 Quad cab 2 wheel drive?

I already have a PA body 3" lift but I heard that the Stock rims will rub against the new Fabtech A-arms. Anyone run into this?

I want to run 285/75/16 bfg's but I want to use the dodge stock rims.

Thanks for any help.

I was also curious as I plan on doing the same thing and know that there are some backspacing problems with the fabtech suspension lift.

I would check with fabtech. I wouldn't ask this direct question but check with them as to why exactly the 15incher on the previous lifts wouldn't work. then inquire about the 2002's. if the lift needed less then .5 more rim clearence then your set.

I do have a feeling though that if this were the case they would have said it to sell more lifts.

check with doscetech. I will be probable getting there arms soon, and will ask if the 15inch stock rim will work, as I like to put the stockers on for highway trips.
