i found a 4.5 inch lift online..(its rack and pinion) only...i was wanting to know whats the difference between that and a suspension lift. And would that work on my 2001 dakota quad cab. And why I can get that cheaper then a 3 inch suspension. Also whats the biggest tire i could run with the 4.5 rack and pinion. Hope to here from ya soon! thanks brent

Is it from Truckin Suspension? If so it is a suspension lift. The rack and pinion is the type of steering that is on your truck. The reason that you can get that cheaper than a 3" suspension (rancho) is because you get what you pay for. Quality vs. Quantity, but it is your truck and your choice. FYI- There are a LOT of people that will tell you not to go with a lift from Truckin' cause they are junk!

Good point Blu!!! They are knows as AIM industries as well.

There are guys on this board that will back them. Just not to many. Some of them modified this lift for more strength from what I have read.

Go Rancho or get a Body lift.

Never late for a Tee time or wheelin with my buddies! Always ready for both!!!
