i have a 01 dokota sport. with the 4.7l v8 and it has a lot of power but i am a power freak. i love speed. i was wondering what kind of supercharger would work for my truck.

kenne bell offers a blower that sits right on the intake with some modifications to the rest of the motor {not internal} just moving things around.everything is included in the kit and i mean everything. its steep at around $4,ooo but you dont have to shop for anything else. my truck dynoed at 369hp at wheels with 6psi boost and with the 10 psi pully and race gas it makes 411hp. thats with a stock internal motor.i think youll find it worth it.

paxton also makes a kit for the 4.7, the cheapest i have found it is around 3900 dollars to 4300 for the polished one, depending where your looking. Paxton is also a sister company of vortech, so i would trust the quality. it comes with a 3 yr warranty on the 6 lb pulley, but if you drop it down and make it 8 lbs, your warranty goes to 1 yr. I haven't had the money to install it, but just another option or alternative for you
