Subject: Body Lift Affect Heater? IP: Logged
Message: My heater doesn't work. I turned it on for the first time about two weeks ago, I have run it for as long as thirty minutes with no sign of warmth. I know there could be several reasons for this, but I was wondering if it could possibly be because of my body lift added earlier this year. I was hoping you guys could confirm or deny my first thought on the problem, tell me if it is possible something happened because of the lift that I could check myself, or is it something else. Thanks in advance for any input.

Message: I don't see any way that it could be the body lift. I don't know what year your's is but on the GenIII there should have been anything taken apart that would affect that. I guess you could check to make sure no heater hose has been kinked but if this had happened you would probably have an overheating problem too. I think you need to look somewhere else besides the lift kit. Sorry I couldn't be more help, maybe someone else knows something I don't. Hope it goes well.

Message: Thanks for the reply. I ordered a new thermostat, hopefully that is my problem. I was just wondering if it could be something abnormal from the lift. Again thanks for the reply.

Message: I agree that there shouldn't be any correlation between the body lift and your heater problem Hope you get it figured out!
