Message: You cant raise it with torsion bars b/c they only come on 4x4's. Get some coil spacers to lift the front. They have them on ebay and such.

Message: I don't know what year they don't, but 2000+ 2wd's have torsion bars.
98Dak, don't crank them more than 2" or you'll wear down your ball joints and such. And get an alignment after you do it.

Message: He doesnt have torsion bars...they are only for 4 wheel drives. He has coil springs in the front. Get some 2" spacers to insert under the springs.

Message: Go on ebay and type in dakota and its under the suspension sub-category. They usually run like $20-$50 depending on what quality ya get. Hope this helps.
