Subject: Lift Question! IP: Logged
Message: I have (4) 31x13.5 R15 that were on my Wrangler. I was wondering whether I needed a lift to fit them under my 98 Dakota SLT 4x4? I know the hieght is alright but I wasnt sure since they are 13.5 inches wide. Can you tell me what i need to do to put them on my truck? They are super swampers so I anxious to do it especially with snow comming! Thanks alot!

Message: What size are the rims on your Dakota? I don't think 13.5 wide tires will fit on 8 wide rims.

Message: O.k. guys. I have a question. I have a 2001 Dakota with a 3.9 and it is an SLT. They sit with the engine lower than the bed and they just generally sit low. I want to raise it like a V8 4x4 sits. What parts would I need from a V8 to put on my V6 and would they fit?

Message: The tires are already mounted on the rims, so basically it is up to the backspacing whether the tires will fit? If you know if you can slide a 31 inch tire thats 13.5 inches wide on stock suspension please lemme know! They are super swampers off my jeep which was stock suspension.
Thanks alot! Lemme know!
