Message: Kyle, man. My recomendation, get the 3in body lift. And then get a good 3in susp lift(ei Rancharo, Fabtech) You could then run 33x12.50's. Thats as big as your gonna get.
See on 2wd Daks, a rack & pinion steering system, limits our lifts to a 3in suspension lift. Until a company comes out with a lowering system for the rack and pinion system, thats as big as were gonna get. If you wnated to get really handy, you could get some raised fiberglass fenders. Maybe that could get you a little bigger. Or you could sawzall the fenders out alot but that looks honkly if not done well.
Good Luck my friend.

Message: Klye best way to get hight is a SAS (solid axle swap). that way you should be able to run up to 38"+ size tires.

Message: hey, thanks guys. i was wondering though, dont you need to swap your frame to swap to a solid front and if not, then how much would that cost.

Message: Kyle, that SAS thing is big bucks my frined. You basically have to redesign the entire front suspension to do that and make it work. Not a good choice. Plus, I dont know your engine size but just think about running 38in tires with a 318 thats modified. Yeah, it will go, but not real fast. So OK, you change out gears. Now you can move but your top speed will be slammed. And dont even get into gas milage. You go from station to station.
Best thing is to go with the 3 in body and 3 in susp and run you some 33x12.50's man. I looks very nice and still does not make the vehical totally impractical. Good Luck

Message: Hey Kyle I have the solution for you. I have an 8 month old Fabtech lift for sale .. Rancho shocks and coils included... if you are interested email me at dmacias@elp.rr.com if you want to look at my truck with the lift go to www.maxtire-4x4.com and click on projects. ... the lift is the Fabtech 3 in Performance and I will be taking it off of my truck in about 2 weeks to acomodate a new straight axle. ...
I had 33 in Procomp muds with a 3 in lift and a 3 in body lift and a little fender trimming they fit just fine.
