Subject: LT295/75/16 ? IP: Logged
Message: putting a body lift on my 01 dak next week, from my research i know i can run a 285/75/16 with no issues as to trimming or frame rub, but the next size available on stock rims is the 305/70/16, which i believe is the same as a 33x12.5, and they all seem have to trim and have rubbing problems. Les Schwab has the 295/75/16 available, has any body ever run this size tire, any feedback thanks

Message: 295/75/16 is a taller tire (basically the same width). It wouldn't be any better for rubbing issues.

Message: My 285's rub my frame, and my rubber fender liner at full lock. That is on a stock 16x8 wheel too. Turn the torsions up a little...
