 Subject: 3 inch Fabtech lift - shocks?

Before I start, I did try to search for the answers to my questions.
That being said, I have the 3 inch Fabtech lift minus the shocks sitting in my garage. Do I need new shocks before I do the install? Also, does anyone have the correct Rancho 9000x front and rear part numbers to fit with the lift (2001 2WD 4.7 QC)? I would like to save for a few more weeks and get them instead. If I need new shocks I could order the Fabtechs now.

Well I guess nobody here knew.....
I called Fabtech's support. They said it could blow out the shocks if I didn't get lifted replacements. I ordered and received the Fabtech performance shocks.
If the weather cooperates, I will be installing the lift today.
