Hi again...thanks to those who told me I could mount 32 x 11.5s on 7 x 15 rims..Now..I have a 98 4x4 RG/SB,that came,(Sorta) with 31x10.5...(came with flares and rear swaybar, but small wheels,,not relevant)I bought Michlin 31s Ltx and 15x7 nugget rims, and drove them for 65000 and was happy...Now I plan to run Bfg kos,32x11.5...Ive read in here that they will fit with minor rubbing on frame...Anyway,Ive been weighing the pros and cons of P/a 3'lift......based on your comments,I don't know what to think.Ive ben rearend twice here in Phoenix and had cab damage with stock mounts.3" seems kinda high.Plus steering ext problems.
Now...I was thinking....1' lift bloks on the rear axle...(I have a shop in my garage)...,,,,,,,1' on the torsion bars,,,...and either a2' body lift from P/A or a 1 or so of my own...Now some questions
1...On P/A lift,do you take out factory rubber and put in nylon block?
2..Could I make somthing replicating the upper body mounts(Kinda bell shaped to keep things in),,,exepet make them an 1' or so thicker, and use factory rubber??
3...Does a P/A 2" lift require a steering shft extention?(Tis bothers me the most
4....Would 1" custom body lift need 1?
5...Am I NUTS?

I don't need or want tons of lift, but want it cheap and safe...I would love comments on this....Cause theres gotta be somthing in between a pricy suspension lift and a scary(TO ME )body lift
