Message: I am going to put a lift on my 98 dakota 4x4, im thinking about a 3" body lift but i dont know if a 3" lift will be enough??? Im wanting to use tires that are maybe 31x12.5, will this look ok???? and should i think about a bigger lift??? and is there anywhere I could get tires and a body lift a lil cheeper????
Thanks
Yes it will be enough, I believe, to run that size but you will need a rim with less backspacing so you will not rub on the frame at full turn. An AE589 prolly would be best. I do not think that you will rub the fenders. This setup will make your tires stick out from the fender maybe 3-4"'s. Depends if you have fender flare's. A 32x11.5x15 would look real good on stock rims and a 33 if you like to trim.
I think Kyle has this set up in a bogger 31x12.5x15. Most run 33's with the body lift but have to trim so they minimize rubbing.
Never late for a Tee time or wheelin with my buddies! Always ready for both!!!
