Subject: Front end raised? IP: Logged
Message: I have a '98 V6 2wd. I want to put on 3" Body Lift to run 31"x10.5x15 tires. I would like to keep the stock 15x7 wheels. I have two questions (for now).
Can I get those tires on stock wheels?
Is cranking up the torsion bars the best way to level up the truck?
If anyone has pictures of this setup & model, I would like to see it.

Message: I think you should look at the front of your rig. I beleive it has coil springs, not torsion bars. You will need to install spacers (avail. from places like Daystar)
Yes, you can fit those tires on stock wheels (provided yours came with 15" wheels and not 16" wheels).
Good luck.

Message: Yeah, you're right, I'm an idiot. I've read around this site that the 2" Daystar spacers will be enough to even out the truck. Was I mistaken, or does that sound right?
