Subject: 2" Fabtec Springs IP: Logged
Message: I have a 2000, 4.7, Club Cab. I want to level the front and have the 2" springs - I know they are not engine/body specific. Sooooo,
Has anyone actually installed these springs on a V8?
If so, I wonder if you would share with me how much ACTUAL lift you received by this instal.
I've searched this site high and low and I have yet to see a definitive answer to this question. A lot of theoretical "guestimates", but no hard data.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
MD

Message: Abour 3/4" is what Fabtech told me about a year ago. I went with 2" Daystar spacers and got about 3" of lift. In hind site I wish I went with 1 1/2" spacer. I think the ride would have been a little better.

Message: Thanks for your help. Not sure 3/4 of an inch is worth the money or effort.

Message: I bought and had the Fab Tech suspension 3" installed. I was told you'd get about 2" from the springs alone, but be aware that if you have the stock 16" alloys the won't fit. My 3" is a true 3+ in the front, to the point I now need to find 1.5" shackles to raise the rear (even with the add leaf!)
