I know alot of people make them from plastic pieces of one sort or another that they find at home depot. They do the same to make grill cages.

10-4 on Home Depot. I think I spent less than $10 to fill in the front gaps and a grill guard to cover my lower front valance to protect the tranny cooler.

NEVER FORGET!

Figure the screws should be long enough to go through the material and have another 1/4 to 1/2
left over. You will need to install these with a drill

Skip the screws. I used clear exterior house caulking (as an adhesive). No drilling required! No holes to promote rust! Simply lay a bead (he said lay) along the edge and slide it into place. Mine have been on for 4 years now.

So just use caulk instead of screws and still use the heavy flixible plastic? What do you mean, slide it into place?

I laid a bead of silicone along the edge of the material I had cut, then working from the bottom, slid it up into place. This prevents you from making an unsightly mess of the fender-well. I slid the front and back behind the plastic inserts that are already in the well. Makes for a neater appearance.

So instead of putting it where you could see the whole thing in front, you put it on the other side right? The back side kinda.
