I have a fabtech lift for sale if any one is interested for a 2wd Dakota 98 up. I also have 5 american eagle 589 15 x 8 rims. I will sell them pretty reasonably.

The lift is 8 months old ... if you need the shocks I will throw them in with the lift. I had a Rancho set up. shocks are also 8 months old.

The reason I am getting rid of the lift and rims is because I am doing a straight axle conversion.

to view pictures of the truck and lift go to
www.maxtire-4x4.com and click on projects ...my truck is being featured as a project truck.

The lift is the 3in lift performance Fabtech... you can look at the application guide at

Dave, you should throw in a Viper engine!! hehe...
I didn't realize yours was only a 4cyl. That looks like a lot of work ahead of you, good luck! I guess then you'll be the tallest 2wd... no wait, you'll be a 4x4 now... :-P

The Truck handled the 33's well however I had to change gear ratio from 3.92 to 4.56 to make up for the high end. Otherwise plenty of power to go around. The truck did extremely well on the dirt and fairly on the freeway.

The rims Im selling for $150 they are the 589 model American racing. However I dont recomend putting 33 in tires on 15 x8 ... You need 15 x 10 or larger if you are going higher than 32 in tires...
Also if you change tire sizes I do recommend that you alingn your truck.. . I will save you money in the future...
