Message: The '02 kit should work on the '03, because they didn't change anything that would make a difference. I headed up a GB for this kit a couple months ago and had a guy with an '03 that asked the same ? I called a local Dodge dealer and they confirmed it.
Good luck, ~Tracy

Message: I got my pa 3" body lift in today and was looking through the instructions and i have a couple questions before i start on it.Since i have an 2003 automatic and a switch for the 4x4 do i have to mess with any welding installing this kit?....Also it says that there are some things called overload spacer that is says need to be welded.Do they have to be installed?or can i do it after the body lift is complete and just take it to a shop sometime to have it welded?....Also do i have to extend the radiator hose for it,ive searched everywhere for his info but nobody seems to have info on a 2003 v6 4x4 please help Melvin

Message: You wont have to do anything with the shifting cables. In the instructions is says to remove transfer case lever (you dont have one) all shifting is done electronically. You dont need the bed support brackets unless you put anything heavy in the back (motorcycle, gravel), your bed has 8 mounts on it anyways. If you dont feel comfortable with that have a shop weld them in. They go right above the fuel tank, so dont do it yourself. Not sure about the radiator hose on a v6, I had to extend mine on the v8.

Message: First, you will not have to do any welding on for the transfer case shift linkage, because you do not have one since yours is electric. Second, the overload spacers can be done afterwards and are not "necessary" to do the install. Third, you may be one of the first on here to body lift a 2003 v6 4x4. Personally, I would try to avoid it if at all possible. When I did mine the fan was very close to hose without the extension and did not rub. It was a little to close for comfort for me, so I temporarily held it back with a bungy. Shortly there after, I extended the hose only to find out that the outside diameter of the extension piece they provided is larger than the inside diameter of the radiator hose by a 1/2". BIG PROBLEM!! I got it on there, but it was a bi*ch. I have since removed the clutch fan and installed a 180° t-stat. Had I done those 2 things before the body lift, I could have skipped the hose extension and the fan shroud trim (very messy). There might be a couple of others steps that you can leave out too. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Message: This should not have any affect on the install. I was able to skip the fuel filler hose removal ... didn't see why this was necessary amd I had no problems. You might be able to skip the brake line removal also ... I did, but was very careful when I lifted the driver's side. The brake lines should be able to "give" enough so you don't have to use the brackets they provide. One other pointer: remove the upper bolt on the steering shaft and loosen the lower one ... hard to tell from the instructions, but the upper one acts as a keyway. Several guys including myself had better luck using the factory jack instead of a hydraulic jack to lift the body, because it lifts straight up.
Good luck and ask more questions if you need,
~Tracy

Message: Well i got my 3" body lift on my truck today just to let yall know.it took me and a freind about 6 hours to do and we only had 1 minor problem. The steering extension was a real pain to get on.After some grinding and cussing it went on.Everything went real smooth but the extension took up a good hour of time.I didnt even have to remove the radiator, just the plastic shroud and i took a roto zip and cut it so it wouldnt rub which was great.I have some pics on my site if yall want to see.thanks for the help melvin http://www.sounddomain.com/id/disturbedklownz

Message: No, truckinsuspension hasn't installed one yet, and they wont sell you one unless you are in Arizona for liability reasons.
