Subject: raising a 99 sport 4x4 IP: Logged
Message: i have a 99 dak sport 4x4 ext cab. with tow pkg and heavy duty service group. its already pretty up in the air from the factory but i want a little more lift. is body lift or susp. lift the best way to go for my truck ? i have the stock 31x10.5x15's on it and i want to put some 33's on it. would i even have to raise it at all ? would just a 3 inch susp lift work well with 33's or would i need to to body and suspension ? thanks for the feedback

Message: Actually if the torsion bars are cranked about an inch you should be able to drive it with a 3" body lift and 33's. You will rub on a U turn but just trim off some plastic to stop that.
