Subject: help!body lift install IP: Logged
Message: im installing the trail master 3 inch body lift.
i have a few ?
by the way trail masters instructions are nothing to brag about.
the steering shaft they are telling me to measure 2 spots on the upper part and cut and in fact its the bottom part so i have now way of knowing how long to make the shaft.and how to get the shaft out i have the lower pinch bolt out but the top is the problem.
did you guys trim the lip at the bottom of the shroud?
if someone can give me a call that would be cool!

Message: Dude, I took mine to a shop and they did all the crap! Not worth the hastle and questionable worksmanship on my part to do it myself. Good luck

Message: I am a first time installer wondering how hard it is to raise a 2004 Dakota with a 3 in body lift. Any advice you have may be very useful
