 Subject: Body lift bumper brackets

I have read through these pots time and time again. but after all of that i have two questions about the body lift i just put on. (by the way i have a 97 CC 4X4) 1. are there any front bumper extenders for the sides, of the the front bumper where it mounts to the frame?
and 2. does anyone else have a problem going into 2nd? it will still go but its a little tight, i noticed that i was hitting the console with the shifter arm, is there any fix to this?
i know you guys are the best at what you do so let me know what you think and if you can help!

I don't know about your bumper (I'm a Gen II owner) but you should be able to adjust your shift lever linkage at the tranny to gain the clearance that you need. Sounds like you are not talking much.

If you are talking about your stick shift, you need to heat it up and bend it.

the kits do not include the brackets to raise the corner braces if thats what your talking about. 2 pieces of metal from a fab shop will o you just fine.

My kit came with bumper brackets for the outer bumper (I have a '99 club cab 4x4). They are basically a small rectangular plate with 3 holes drilled in it (1 " apart in a straight line). And yes you will have to heat up the shifter and bend it for it to fix the clearance problems when shifting into 2nd.
