Hey, I have a 01 Kota I wanna give a 3 inch body lift. I don't have enough money right now to add bigger tires, but I can afford the lift. How stupid would the lift look with the stock tires on it? Anyone have pics of a 3" body lift 2wd Dak with stock tires?
Should I just wait to save up for the bigger tires/wheels too?

Dude itll look wired. Ib buy the body lift kit, and hang on to it until you have $$$ for tires too. Or look around for someone selling tires. Your probably run 31s which is a common tire. When I had my 1990 2wd lifted, first the 2in susp, I left it alone, but then the 3in body lift went on, and I was like damn. Ugly. It was like 4:45pm when I pulled it outa the lift shop, and drove straight to the tires shop and get the guys to stay late and put on the 31s. Good Luck

I agree that if you buy the body lift now, you will want to wait until you get the larger tires to install it. You would not like the look with stock tires.

Thanks guys for the input. Hey dkr8611, I don't think your Dak looks too bad lifted with original tires.

I suppose though, that I'm just gonna wait and save up for the tires too. I think if I scavanger for some used tires, mabey I can get it all done much quicker. I'm just dying to be riding high!!

Thanks again all.

Hi dkr8611, do you have any pictures with the new tires??? What is the actual size of the new tires. I'm considering doing what you did. Just the body lify on my 2wd but I don't know how big I can go with the tires. I was thinking 265/75/16. Does anyone know if these will work?? Thanks. (This is a great forum.)

Could someone help with information on body lifts. What is the max tire size for a 2" body lift and for a 3" body lift. I thinking of getting 265r75-16 tires and wondering what body lift would be best.

If you need the rear brush guards they have a guy on ebay selling them for $45

I have an 03 and these things fit and look sweet with my manik up front. Just thought I would pass along the deal.
