Message: Hello,
Im new to this board but i have a 2001 Dodge Dakota sport 3.9. I have already gone through the warped rotor situation that i have read mostly on here. I wish all of you luck!!! But the problem im having is my engine light came on and i ran the diagnostic and got the code that says it detected a leak in the evaporative system. My dad checked the hoses for me and we refilled the antifreeze due to it being almost gone. We replaced the radiator cap also. Now we are thinking that it might be the thermostat because the problem im having is the antifreeze is being blown out of the excess holder and ending up on the battery and all underneath the hood. We checked the radiator for leaks and holes but didnt find anything. What i wanted to know has anyone ever had this error message and what exactly did you do to correct the error? Any help is appreciated...
Thanks Tammy
