Subject: 3" BL frame showing? IP: Logged
Message: Any of you guys out there with a 3" body lift have the frame showing much? i just was wondering how is going to be hanging down and if any of you had pictures. And i was wondering how many of you puts lips on to try and hide some of the frame. any help would be awsome. thanks

Message: Instead of buying the lift lips you can go to Home Depot or the like and buy some rubber material to fabricate them yourself. This is what i did for the front wheel wells. I just cut them to the shape i needed and then just applied them w/ a rivet gun. Same effect w/ less $$ spent.

Message: i had a body lift on my truck and got the gap guards for around the wheels. but as for how the frame looks from a side view. look at a stock chevy truck and how much there frame is showing. expecially the s-10/blazer/etc. it doesnt look bad by any means. but you will be able to see some frame but you wont see any gaps underneath just from the rear wheels you can see under the bed unless you get the gap guards.

Message: i have a couple pics of the body lift.......the bottom left pic is prolly the best example that i have of the frame...i dont think its that bad...soon i will get some more pics up and i will put a side shot. i have a better one that shows the frame but i havent posted it on the site yet........hope this helps a little
