ok boys & gals, you might have seen me in here talking about the companies trying to come up 2wd lifts for the dak. well here's a functional biz with a website and examples of their work www.orcmotorsports.com. these guys are making a kit for the 2wd dak where you able to get 13" of true wheel travel with the stock spindles and 16" with a fabed spindle. i just gat quoted a price of $4,300 for tig welded chromoly arms, modified spindles, and 12" King Racing Coilovers, uninstalled. i would have to get a local shop it install the kit seem how i'm not going to drive to CA from NC. BE ADVISE this kit isn't a weekend job in your drive people! you will have to take it to a local fab shop to get it installed so the frame can be chopped and shock hoops can be fabed for your new coilovers. the lower arm is completely boxed. the upper arm is tubed unless you pay more for the boxed version or get the "extreme kit" (as the gentleman i talked to called it) that comes with with upper and lower fully boxed. this kit when being purchased is available in what ever over stock with that you want i asked about 6" over stock. and i was told no problem. oh i'm suppose to be getting more pics than what on their website. and the pics of a three link rear suspension set up that could be available to the public as a kit (hint hint). oh i even droped it in his ear about us wanting a complete true "bolt-in" roll cage for the club cab guys. sorry to all the Gen I & II guys & gals. this kit is for the Gen III. i think if ya gave these guys a call then they might do something for ya, never know. please give these guys a call, their number is (619) 590-0034.
