Has anyone ever heard or seen of a older style dakota say 87-91 body style on a full-size Ram frame? My friend and I just did this a couple weeks ago, He went from a stock 2wheel drive dakota, swaped bodies onto a 4wheel drive one(both 3.9s), and has now switched bodies again to a 4wheel drive Ram(77, with a 727and318) its frekkin huge, He clears 40's in the back already, and upto 38's in the front, he's just waiting for more money to buy a 8 or 11' suspension lift to clear 44's. Once i get my digital camera, i'll put up some posts. So anyone got anything bigger?

Just screwing with ya. That sound cool. Please get some picts up soon. I did see a 1989(?) Dak in a off road magazine that had a custom suspension lift, ran a 318 or 360 outa an old Dodge car, and he was running like 39's Mickeys. It looked sweet.

Yeah i'm here, just waiting for the camera. Yeah its frekkin huge, It will run 40's NO problem at all. It only has a 318 and TF727 and a NP203, but once he gets the tires and kinks worked out of it. It will be a monster. No all we did was switch the body of a dakota and put it on the frame of a Ram. No motor switching or anything like that. Dana 44 front and Dana 60 rear. It's tough. Pics soon
