So I just installed my lift lips kit from performance accessories. What a joke. I paid $44 for some plastic and some little plastic plug deals. So for anyone who has body lifted their Dak just go buy some rubber stuff and rivet the rubber onto the fender. the kit didnt fit that well, but it did work. I think the do it yourself would be way better, mainly becuase of the stronger rivets. Just a idea for anyone thinkin about buying some.

I am going to be putting on a 3" performace body lift and was planning on putting on Lift lips, am i better off not buying the kit and making it myself or buy the kit and use different fasteners?

Dude,
Go down to Home Depot or Lowes and get some landscaping molding and a tube of paintable exterior adhesive/ sealant(not RTV, it is corrosive). Trim off the lips and edges and glue it in place. I did this two years ago and it is still firmly in place. No holes drilled(more rust) and if I need it out, I just pull. This idea got me $35 from Four Wheeler several months back.
